If you create a My Concierge account we process the information you provide and the activity you generate within it.
Account information: your name, email address, and any company, role and country of residence you choose to give. Company, role and country are optional.
Authentication information: an irreversible cryptographic hash of your password (we never store the password itself), session and "remember me" identifiers, and email verification records.
Activity within My Concierge: the services you save, the jurisdictions you follow, the service interests you select, the Coutts Guides and Insights you save or download, the jurisdictions, services and publications you view while signed in so that you can return to them, and the enquiries you submit while signed in.
Preferences and consent: your notification selections, your marketing preference, and the dates on which you accepted the Terms of Business and acknowledged this Privacy Policy.
Security and audit records: significant account events such as account creation, email verification, password changes, preference changes, publication downloads and account closure requests, together with the IP address associated with them.
We use this information to operate your account, to provide the services and publications you request, to personalise the content shown to you within My Concierge, to respond to your enquiries, and to protect the account against unauthorised access.
We do not sell your information. We use third-party service providers to operate the website, host the application and deliver email; those providers process information on our instructions and under contract.
You may update your profile and preferences at any time within My Concierge, and you may request closure of your account. Where we are required to retain records of enquiries or professional services for legal, regulatory or legitimate business purposes, those records are retained for the applicable period even after an account is closed.
Notification emails are sent only where you have selected them. Marketing communications are sent only where you have separately opted in, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.
